Brazilian womenswear brands

The La Lista closet gathers pieces from eighteen Brazilian womenswear brands: Adriana Degreas, Animale, Cecilia Prado, Cris Barros, Farm, Gallerist, GinGin, Iódice, LeLis, Lu Papaspyrou, Maria Filó, Maria Valentina, Morena Rosa, My Basic, NV, Osklen, Shoulder and Zinco. Which of them suits you is not decided by the brand name but piece by piece: every garment is classified on the seven style archetypes, and the order of your closet comes from your profile. The purchase always happens on the brand's own site.

Why a brand is no shortcut to a style

Large brands cover several archetypes at once. A house known for elegant tailoring also signs the romantic dress of its summer collection, and the same brand of creative prints makes the most traditional basic in your wardrobe. Treating a brand as a style signal is the fastest way to be wrong: that is why, at La Lista, the brand does not enter the affinity calculation. The garment does. You can say you love a brand or that it is not for you, and that adjusts the order of what you see — but it never alters your style profile.

What we look at before a brand comes in

Three criteria, applied by a stylist before a brand enters the catalogue. Pattern-making and fit that hold up on a real body, not only in the campaign photograph. Finishing and composition that justify the price asked. And a recognisable style identity, so that the garment says something about the person wearing it. A short list is a choice, not a limit: curation is, by definition, exclusion.

Where to buy clothes that suit your style

The method that works starts with the profile, not the shop window. First, know your two or three strongest archetypes. Then build the base with versatile pieces — the ones that score reasonably across several archetypes — and reserve the signature budget for your highest archetype. Only then choose where to buy: the same silhouette exists across several brands and price ranges. Buying by brand produces a wardrobe consistent with somebody's campaign; buying by profile produces a wardrobe consistent with you.

How we make money, said before you ask

We earn a commission when you buy through us, and that pays for the curation. No brand buys position in your closet: the order is set by your profile alone. Three of the brands in the catalogue — Maria Valentina, Morena Rosa and Zinco — belong to Grupo Morena Rosa, and that gives them no advantage in position either. The list grows as new brands pass the same three criteria.

  • Which Brazilian womenswear brands are on La Lista?

Adriana Degreas, Animale, Cecilia Prado, Cris Barros, Farm, Gallerist, GinGin, Iódice, LeLis, Lu Papaspyrou, Maria Filó, Maria Valentina, Morena Rosa, My Basic, NV, Osklen, Shoulder and Zinco — eighteen brands, all Brazilian, all womenswear.

  • Does La Lista sell the clothes?

No. La Lista selects and ranks; the purchase happens on the brand's official site, at the brand's price and conditions. We earn a commission when a purchase happens, and that does not change what appears first in your closet.

  • Can a brand pay to appear first?

No. The order of the closet is set exclusively by the style profile of the person looking at it. We do not sell position, placement or advertising space inside the closet, because doing so would destroy the only thing this product has to sell: the confidence that the order is about you.

  • Are there international brands in the catalogue?

Not today. The catalogue is entirely Brazilian, by choice: it is where our curation can judge fit and finishing with real knowledge, and where the purchase arrives without import.

  • How do I know which brand suits me?

By the garment, not the brand. After the quiz, the closet shows pieces from several brands ranked by affinity with your profile, and the pattern appears on its own: usually two or three brands concentrate what suits you most, but almost never a single one.
